Collection: Merfolk

I grew up on South Africa’s west coast, in small fishing villages where nature shaped every day. I spent my childhood combing beaches for shells and sun-bleached bones, fascinated by the forms the sea created. The ocean’s rhythm, its stories and people, became part of me.

Now based in Hoi An, I find familiar echoes in its tides and communities — a shared life shaped by saltwater and craft. In this meeting of places, I bring a piece of myself, bridging the cold Atlantic and the East Vietnam Sea.
